Solitude in HIS presence

The soul is weary, it longs for a peaceful place.

I wandered here and there in such case.

If I were in the highest mountain it would be pleasant,

But the path to the top would drain my strength.

How it would be? I thought about the sea shore,

The raging waves will be like a lion's roar.

I was bemused,my soul longs for something that last,

The everlasting hope and it wants to anchor to it.

As I was thinking about it all alone by myself,

Thoughts of the one who was pierced for me, came to my mind.

I couldn't stand, I broke and knelt down.

God's presence covered and filled me,

Now I was alone at HIS presence.

I found the joy and peace which my soul longed for,

At mountain top, sea shore and various spots.

Now my soul had anchored to THE ROCK that is CHRIST.

At last when I opened my eyes, I was aware,

That I have spent time with my SAVIOR in solitude.
